Yellow Jacket Removal in Dallas-Fort Worth

Fast. Safe. Professional.

Yellow jackets are often mistaken for honey bees due to their similar size and black-and-yellow coloring, but make no mistake—these aggressive wasps are far more dangerous. When they nest near homes or businesses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, they create a significant hazard for families, pets, and employees alike. While yellow jackets do play a role in managing insect populations, their territorial behavior and painful stings make them a serious threat.

If you’ve discovered a yellow jacket nest on your property, don’t take risks. Trust the experts at Little Giant Beekeepers for professional yellow jacket removal services throughout North Texas.

Understanding Yellow Jackets

Unlike honey bees, yellow jackets are wasps with smooth, hairless bodies and a reputation for aggression. These wasps typically measure about half an inch long and can sting multiple times, especially when their nest is disturbed.

Yellow jackets often build nests in concealed spaces such as:

  • Underground burrows

  • Attics and wall voids

  • Eaves and rooflines

  • Outdoor grills, hose reels, chimneys, and electrical boxes

Because they favor hidden and high-traffic areas, yellow jacket infestations in Dallas-Fort Worth pose a real danger to anyone on the property.

We're pretty unlucky and have had 2 hives (in different places) in our roof over the course of 5 years. Both times we used Little Giant Beekeepers and they were fantastic! After the second hive, we decided to look into bee proofing our house and they worked with us on a fair price, sealing off 13 other potential spaces that could attract future hives.Missy, who we spoke with over the phone, was so friendly and worked to help offer this brand new service for us. Jeff came out for the inspection and quickly got us a quote. Then, the two young men who came out to do the sealing work were phenomenal - very efficient and polite! All in all, I've had nothing but positive experiences with this company, and have so much more peace of mind after working with them. They truly seem to care about the work they do. We highly recommend them!

Yesterday I watched, in amazement, the entire process of bee removal. A couple months ago I noticed a small hole under my eve with some bees coming and going. I called BeeKeeper's, spoke with Missy, and she explained in detail the process of their removal. The same day Jefferson came by to review the area and, using an infared camera, found the bees were not in the wall behind the sheetrock. Three days later Jacob and Eric came to begin the process of removal. They pealed back portion of the roof to locate the bees and began the removal. I couldn't believe to number of bees inside the area. It was thousands and a treasure trove of them and lots of honeycomb. They saved some of the comb for me and now I have three quarts of the tasty honey. Once completely remove and cleaned, they treated the area, replaced the insulation and roofing material. Looking at the area, you can't tell the roof was even opened. This company is very experienced and professional. I strongly recommend their services. 'SAVE THE BEES" & gain some great honey.

We discovered we had a honey bee hive in our backyard. At first we didn't know it was honey bees and we called our pest control service who verified it was honey bees and gave us the referral to Little Giant Beekeepers. We called them and they were at our house within 2 hours. The man who came out, Manoel, was very good. He immediately assessed the situation and quickly removed the nest and put it into his container to carry away. He sprayed the area where he removed the nest so any remaining bees wouldn't come back. He spoke to my wife at length about bees and what they do with the bees they remove. He couldn't have been nicer. We highly recommend Little Giant Beekeepers if you discover a bee hive in your yard.

Wonderful people to deal with. I noticed a few hundred bees swarming near my 2nd story eaves trying to get in all of a sudden and called right away. Missy was very patient and explained the entire bee scouting and hive process and told me not to panic. Gave a few tips to try to determine if their services were needed or not. So far so good but will definitely call them if it gets worse.

The Dangers of Yellow Jacket Nests

Yellow jackets defend their nests aggressively and can sting repeatedly, unlike bees that sting only once. Their stings are painful and may cause severe allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

DIY removal attempts are not only ineffective but dangerous. Without the right tools and safety equipment, you could trigger a full-scale wasp attack. Additionally, improperly removed nests can lead to re-infestations or even structural damage if nests are hidden inside walls or attics.

Instead of risking your safety, trust our expert team for reliable wasp and bee removal services across North Texas.
